Ancient City Tours COSTUME CONTEST

hosts their annual free Halloween Costume Contest at the at Fraiser Property next to Grist Mill Gift Shop 11C St George Streeton Sunday, October 27, 2019, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. After the contest, families are welcome to join in the trick-or-treating at participating shops on St. George Street.  The costume contest is divided into age groups: Infant-Toddler (ages 0-4), Child (ages 5-12), Teen (ages 13-16), Adult (ages 16 and over), and Family. The contest judging begins with the youngest group at 2:00 p.m, and trophies for each category are awarded.After each category is judged, the entrants and their families are free to go trick-or-treating up and down St. George Street and the historic district, where many of the shops have treats on hand for the kids. This is the 14th annual Halloween Costume Contest and Merchant Trick-or-Treating, and is a very popular Halloween event in downtown St. Augustine.There are many downtown merchants who participate in trick-or-treating who are looking forward to seeing your costumes and have various treats available for you!For more information please contact Ancient City Tours at (904) 827-0807

Admission: FREE 

When: The Halloween Costume  Contest will take place from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 27, 2019, followed by trick-or-treating.

Where: The Costume Contest is held at Frazier Plaza on North St. George Street next to the Grist Mill Gift Shop. (11 St. George Street) The shops that welcome kids for trick-or-treating are nearby in the historic district, mostly on St. George Street. Participating shops are marked with balloons on their doors.
