Rhythm & Ribs Festival 2017, St. Augustine Florida
Rhythm & Ribs Festival 2017
Friday – Sunday, March 31 – April 2, 2017
St. Augustine’s annual Rhythm & Ribs Festival celebrates delicious barbecue, music and good times, with live entertainment and local chefs competing for the best BBQ. The 2017 festival will take place Friday through Sunday, March 31 – April 2, 2017, at Francis Field.
This festival includes great live music throughout the weekend, people’s BBQ choice awards, a kids zone, mechanical bull, an array of vendors, and much more.
Exceptional live music is a staple of this popular festival each year. The headliner act for 2017 will be the crowd-pleasing New Orleans funk band, Galactic. The full schedule (see below) will include Laura Reed, The Hip Abduction, Go Get Gone, and Biscuit Miller.
Award-winning BBQ from seven regional and national BBQ champions is served throughout the festival, and there is plenty of ice cold beer, sodas and other options as well as a variety of other food items like burgers, pretzels, popcorn, and candy. Barbeque voting takes place all weekend.
The event includes a kids fun zone with games, pony riding, rock climbing wall, rides, and more. This family-friendly event is one of St. Augustine’s most popular annual festivals.
Visitors and locals are welcome to bring blankets and lawn chairs. No coolers, no dogs or other pets, and no overnight camping or parking, please.
Admission: Ticket prices are $10 per person on Friday or Saturday and $5 per person on Family Day Sunday. Ages 15 and under are admitted free. All tickets are available at the gate only — no advance ticket sales.
